Digital
TV is delayed till June 12
2009....will you be ready?
At the end of the day (midnight)
on June 12, 2009 all U.S. television
stations that broadcast full power analog
NTSC signal will change over to a digital ATSC signal. This will cause any NTSC
televisions using an antenna for signal
reception to no longer receive a broadcast
television signal.
If you are using a non digital
TV and are presently getting your local
television signal by using an outdoor
antenna or indoor rabbit ears you will
need to act by installing a digital
converter box.
The federal government is offering free
coupons with a value of $40 to use against
the purchase of a digital signal converter
box that will allow older NTSC TV's to
receive the new digital ATSC signal.
